The system of wooden equipment of the Christian temple is divided into several locations, the definition of which is deter mined by the liturgical order of chains, necessary prayers and other religious practices, and economic affairs. A special place is occupied by the space of the Eucharist’s liturgy, which coincides with the skirts of the sanctuary and extends to the soleia in front of the iconostasis. This space includes the following typological groups of equipment: the main altar, the archbishop, the processional guard, the mountain seat, the altar icon, the altar cross, the blessed cross. In the article selectively considered each of the typological groups of equipment at the level of church-utility, joiner-constructive and figurative-symbolic structures.

Систему дерев’яного обладнання християнського храму поділяємо на декілька локацій, визначення яких обумовлене літургійною чинопослідовністю, требними молитвами та іншими релігійними практиками, господарськими справами. Особливе місце займає простір Таїнства Євхаристії, який збігається з абрисами святилища і поширюється до солеї перед іконостасом. До цього простору належать такі типологічні групи обладнання: головний жертовник, дарохранильниця, проскомидійник, горне сідалище, запрестольна ікона, напрестольний хрест, благословенний хрест. У статті вибірково розглянуто кожну з типологічних груп обладнання на рівні церковно-ужиткової, столярно конструктивної та образно-символічної структур.
